WFDIF - A PARTNER OF THE "MUSICAL TRACK OF KRAKÓW" PROJECT

The Documentary and Feature Film Studios undertook to provide the score and orchestral voices of music composed by Krzysztof Penderecki for the documentary film "There is no end to the great war" from 1959 (dir. Jan Łomnicki), thus supporting the project of the Krakow Cultural Forum entitled "Musical trace of Krakow". The project assumed the recording of unknown theater and film music by Krzysztof Penderecki, written in the 1950s and 1960s for puppet theaters, dramas and films. The Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by Maciej Tworek, the Cracow Singers choir and soloists: Annika Mikołajko and Jacek Wróbel took part in the recordings of Krzysztof Penderecki's works. The copies of the score made available by WFDiF were used to record the music for the film "There is no end to the great war" and to distribute it free of charge on the website www.muzycznyslad.pl
