(born 1972) An IT specialist by profession. Graduate of the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics at the Warsaw University of Technology (1996). Post-graduate studies in Sales Management at the Department of Management, University of Warsaw (2017) and Coaching and Mentoring at the Psychoeducation Laboratory of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (2018). The Man Who Sat With His Back Turned is his literary debut. The play won 2nd prize in the 2018 Teatroteka open playwriting competition organized by the ZAiKS Authors’ Association and WFDiF.
Film and theater director, screenwriter. Graduate of Russian philology (specialization in theater) and psychology at the University of Gdańsk. Studied film directing at NTNU in Norway and the University of Iceland in Reykjavik. Currently a post-graduate student of Philology at the University of Gdańsk and Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Director, screenwriter and producer of short films, including Intermediate Touch (2013), Exhalation (2014), Liar (2015), and Transfer of Cosmic Energy (2019) which have won awards at festivals in Poland and abroad. Directed a number of episodes of the television series Barwy szczęścia, and was first assistant director on 10 Teatroteka productions. Worked as assistant director with Nikolai Kolada on The Inspector General at Teatr Studio in Warsaw and Ship of Fools at Teatr Wybrzeże in Gdańsk. Directed numerous performative readings of contemporary, mostly Russian plays. Guest director at the District Dramatic Theater in Kaliningrad and at the Nikolai Kolada Theater in Ekaterinburg.
