The hero (Maciek) calls to mind one by one the most important events and people from his life, reviewing them as if in an old-fashioned stereoscope panorama. Their images are his subjective, strongly emotionally influenced vision, so everything appears to him in a crooked mirror, as if in a dream. He even sees himself as two people: He is constantly shadowed by his alter ego, Strong Maciek, who for Weak Maciek is a ferocious trainer of character, assertiveness and manliness, a kind of Guardian Devil-cum-Mr. Big Shot, who won’t rest until he accomplishes his mission.
Meanwhile, the accursed circle of dream reality is growing tighter with each passing moment. The innocent grotesque is transformed into a mad macabresque, and the hero, passing through successive stages of his life’s journey, comes to stand before the greatest challenge: a final round with his father.
